About this experience
Have you always wanted to improve your bread baking skills? Whether you love baking bread and want to learn a versatile dough that can be a great addition to your toolkit, or are new to baking and want to learn some fundamental bread baking skills, this workshop is for you. Together we will make challah that you will be able to repeat forever. We will mix, shape, proof, and bake several different challah breads along with a chocolate babka.

Meet Chef Matthew Duffy
Chef Matthew has gained global experience in Italy, Spain, Denmark, NYC, and Japan. He worked at the iconic Noma in Copenhagen, ranked the world's best restaurant five years in a row. While working at Langdon Hall, a Relais Chateaux Property, he revamped the entire bread program and helped them get listed as the best hotel in Canada as well as crack the San Pellegrino World's Top 100 Restaurant list. One of Canada's leading baking professors, Chef Matthew's now-famous sourdough and challah recipes are receiving accolades around the world. Earlier in his career, Chef Matthew trained at Michelin star restaurants throughout Canada including a five year tenure with Daniel Boulud and the opening of the Four Seasons flagship hotel in Toronto, Canada. While at the Four Seasons Chef Matthew cooked for a large list of celebrities. Chef Matthew has truly mastered bread-baking and he knows that with one intimate, hands-on, theory-packed session, you too will be mastering your breads for years to come.
