Meet Vance Henderson
Vance Henderson is the U.S. National Brand Ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin, the deliciously super premium gin for which he travels the country inspiring bartenders, consumers and spirits enthusiasts alike to bring the unusual and curious world of Hendrick’s Gin to life. Vance most recently served as a U.S. Brand Ambassador for Monkey Shoulder Whisky, and prior to, as U.S. Brand Ambassador for Drambuie aged scotch whisky liqueur, where he created and executed innovative programs implementing the brand’s drink strategies for trade and consumer audiences. Before that, he worked as a brand associate on additional William Grant & Sons brands including Flor de Caña Rum and Milagro Tequila.
Prior to working with the William Grant & Sons portfolio, Vance held various positions over his over 18-year career in the food and cocktail industry. He cultivated his craft and learned all aspects of the business, starting as a dishwasher as a teenager working his way up to running beverage programs at Ark Restaurants, Guests Counts Hospitality, Think Food Group and Good Essen Group. Vance’s experience and expertise managing bar programs and hosting spirits events soon led him to launch Flavor Ink, a full-service catering company, and Supperwhere?, an underground dining collective.
A gifted and versatile bartender, Vance has won several “Best of” cocktail awards and competitions and has been featured in numerous national publications. Vance is the 2020 Nightclub & Bar Award winner for Brand Ambassador of the Year and has been a repeat Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards top 10 nominee for Best American Brand Ambassador and Whisky Magazine Scotch Whisky Ambassador of the Year.
