About this experience
Do you know that you already have a gold mine of perfect cocktail ingredients in your kitchen? During our session, Pamela will teach you how to make upgraded cocktails using a few basic ingredients. Your home cocktail hacks will include learning how to make infusions, the secrets of how to fat wash, how to use the ingredients in your home to make the perfect cocktail, every time. Prior to the session, you will have a personal consultation with Pamela to learn what you love and to choose three drinks to prepare based on your preferred drinks, the spices, fruits and other ingredients you have on hand. Your home happy hour will be exponentially upgraded after learning Pamela's bartending best practices.

Meet Pamela Wiznitzer
Pamela Wiznitzer has a true passion and zest for the industry that is seen and tasted in every drink she serves and also transcends the bar. Since 2006, Pamela has been working throughout NYC at many notable venues including The Dead Rabbit, the Seamstress, and Henry at the Life Hotel. She oversees the beverage programs for the iconic Big Apple Circus and The Lookup - a rooftop bar in midtown. Her many accolades including being nominated top 10 bartender for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 "American Bartender of the Year" award at Tales of the Cocktail and was named the "2014 Bartender of the Year" by the Village Voice. Additionally, she was named as one of Food & Wine Magazine's top 10 Rising Star Mixologists, an inductee to the "Dames Hall of Fame" in 2015 and one of Wine Enthusiast Magazine's "40 Under 40" in 2015.
Pamela has a Master’s degree in Food Studies, with a concentration on spirits and alcohol, at NYU’s Steinhardt School. Additionally, she presents her research at seminars and conferences around the world. Pamela is a dual BA graduate of both Barnard College and the Jewish Theological seminary as well as the Beverage Alcohol Resources 5 day program earning top honors by passing the course "Bar Ready."
