Chef Maddy Goldberg

Meet Chef Maddy Goldberg

Currently a chef at the highly acclaimed Aloette Restaurant in Toronto, just two years ago, Maddy Goldberg was a university student and an avid home cook. While studying social work, Maddy spent most days learning new recipes and creating elaborate menus for her friends and family. After graduating, Maddy quickly realized her passion for food was too strong to remain a hobby. She continued on to culinary school and went directly to work for Canada’s highly acclaimed Alo Food Group at Aloette Restaurant under Chef Patrick Kriss. In her cooking and food, which she frequently shares on Instagram, Maddy seeks to provide comfort and approachability while implementing the tried-and-true techniques and skills that chefs use to make their food “restaurant quality.”
