Meet Chef Ari Miller
Ari Miller is the executive chef and co-owner of Musi in Philadelphia, which he opened after several successful pop-ups, including the Frizwit, a cheesesteak made from real food with its own cult following and named Best in Philly in 2016. Less than a year after opening, Musi was named one of the 16 Best New Restaurants in America by Eater, and Ari was named Best Chef by Philadelphia Magazine. At Musi, Ari draws upon flavors honed after a decade spent in Israel, where he worked at a variety of both casual and higher-end spots. Musi highlights local, hyper-seasonal produce, cheeses, and meats and prides itself as a collaborative space that brings together local cheesemakers, butchers, and foragers, as well as Pennsylvania’s very small beer and linens producers.
