Abby Hitchcock's culinary journey began on Long Island's East End, shaped by the region's fishing and farming traditions. That early connection to local ingredients — and an adventurous palate encouraged by her parents — set the foundation for a career built on flavor, craft, and genuine hospitality.
After discovering her passion for food while studying in England, Abby trained at Peter Kump's New York Cooking School and went on to work at acclaimed restaurants in both New York and London. She eventually opened Abigail's Kitchen in Greenwich Village, later relocating to the Lower East Side in 2022 — earning a loyal following along the way.
